I believe that the prescriber-patient relationship should be a collaborative one. I try to include an integrative and holistic approach when possible. Please bring questions and any research you have done on medications or supplements you may be interested in.
Psychiatry is not an exact science. Often a diagnosis someone received earlier, is no longer consistent with their symptoms, and, therefore, their diagnosis may change. This does not mean that an earlier diagnosis was incorrect at that time. It is the symptoms that we seek to treat, not the diagnosis.
